How I Work
I work by understanding the clients business and not mindlessly applying the latest in SEO or other programs. The first step that I start from is the thorough discussion of my client site’s present performance, business model, goals and objectives. From there I develop a brief analysis of the site from which we build a road map that confirms to the clients time frame and budget. Then, when all is clear, the next steps, price and required workload known, we agree / or not to work together. Naturally, all these preliminary steps are free of charge on my part. How I work with the client will depend on several things:
- (1) how the client wants me to work, i.e., as a consultant or as someone who does the work,
- (2) the type of product or service the client offers – as well as the business model the client has adopted,
- (3) the condition of the client’s website and current performance,
- (4) the client’s budget and
- (5) the timeframe in which the client expects to see results. [Some Internet marketing strategies can produce results almost immediately while others take longer (days and weeks versus months).]
I personally enjoy walking the clients through the different steps to online success but tend to avoid those whom I know I can not help or those who still think that web is stuck in the 90s and that great achievements come from tweaking HTML code. I pride myself on this initial screening process since most of the freelancers as well as online marketing companies simply take on any client with a legitimate business that will pay the bills. Let this be my promise to you then: that if I see that your business can not benefit from any or all online marketing programs or I do not see the necessary infrastructure that will support them and turn them into real profit for your company, I will not take on your business. On the other hand, the businesses I take on I consider as special and take every measure to make our relationship a giant success for those companies. This is why I only take a very limited number of clients to ensure an extraordinary level of assistance and input.
